I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane

I'm a very lucky girl and today I'm going to Palma for 10 days with my boyfriend courtesy of my lovely parents as a graduation present!!!
So although I will be out of the country, I still have a few posts scheduled to go up to keep you guys ticking over till I get back. I will also be posting my OOTD pictures on Instagram my username is Ella_nora if you want to have a nosey at my holiday wardrobe (I've been naughty and bought lots of new things since my last holiday) as well as lots of other holiday snaps.
But I'll also be doing a round up of outfit posts and lots of other lovely posts when I get back.

See you soon!

Carat Bloggers Event

Since setting up my blog a little under a year ago I've attended a few different blogging events over the time, but none more helpful than last nights Carat Blog Shop. The event was based in Manchester and it was great to see some familiar faces who I'd met before at previous events as well as meet the Carat Team.

The event aimed to help fashion bloggers get the most out of their blog financially as well as tips to strengthen blog following. Before the talks began I had chance to mingle with old and new faces alike as well as make the most of the catering and free wine! Carat also had several of their fashion clients on site as well as some great local fashion house such as, Matalan, Flannels, Swimwear365.co.uk and Kalediscope, all of which had stalls and before the speeches I had a chance to have a sneak peek of their upcoming collections as well as browse the look books and brilliant products they had.

Matalan in particular had a great stall, with enthusiastic staff who showed me their upcoming A/W collection which I can tell you is amazing! It really surprised me as its not somewhere I would usually shop, but I've definitely got a few things on my lust list which I need in my life as soon as the collection hits the shops. (I'll definitely be dedicating a post to their A/W collection at a later date.)
After we had our fill of wine, cheese and fashion we all sat down to have talks from Rahul, Pete and Mark who were really helpful on ways to improve my blog, keep tuned for changes! It was a great evening and I can't wait for Carat to host some more. Heres some photos from the night.

Olsen Style Stalker

Readers of my blog will know how deep my love for all things Olsen runs, I loved their films when I was younger and as they've grown and developed such amazing style I've found myself as obsessed with them today as I was back them.

They already have their clothing lines "Elizabeth & James" and "The Row"which I've always lusted over, sadly as my wage does not stretch to £1,000 a dress, lusting over the items was a close as I got owning anything designed by MK&A.
However those days are over as The Olsen's have collaborated with Stylist pick (yes the ones which Cheryl did the cringey advert with) to produce a small clothing line at budget friendly prices.

The ranges comprises of 25 pieces, and varies from £15 - £25 meaning you could invest in every piece if you wanted! The designs are no were near as impressive as The Row, but the collection features basic tees, skirts and dresses that would aid any wardrobe. Some of the items I feel I could buy a similar and cheaper alternative from H&M however their are a few that have caught my eye and I think would fit well in my wardrobe and worth buying for the design alone, not just because the famous duo designed it.

Here's my picks from the collection
Grey Tee £18

Striped Dress £20
Dipped Hem Skirt £20

Firstly a massive thank you to everyone that took the time to read and comment on my previous outfit post, it was my first time and I felt, for lack of a better word a bit vulnerable, about the whole thing. Style is such a personal thing, but it mean't a lot to receive so many lovely comments and it was my most viewed post of all time, which has convinced me to carry on! So here's another! The boyfriend and I have are moving into our first apartment together tomorrow (grown ups!) so before a long day of unpacking ( his job) rearranging and making everything look pretty (my job) we decided to go celebrate our new home with a glass of wine (or two ). I hope you continue to like my posts and as always let me know your thoughts by leaving comments below!

Sun, Sea and Stressful Packing!

For sometime now I've been debating whether or not to start doing outfit posts, and after encouragement from friends and readers alike I've decided to branch out into this new area of blogging.
As its my first outfit post (please be kind) I've decided to put together a Holiday outfit montage, as I don't know about you, but packing for any holiday is super stressful! I try to put together outfits for each day beforehand so I pack full outfits rather than throw a bunch of clothes in the case and then be stuck deciding what to wear each day when I get there. I always try and pack for every eventuality, the amazing English weather has made me well practised in this, plus holidays make you more spontaneous and you never know when your going to get invited to a yacht party (I wish) and need a dressier than usual outfit. So less of my holiday waffle, here's my first outfit post, of what I wore on holiday. Hopefully this will inspire your holiday outfits and help with the packing nightmare!

In May...

Happy Monday all! Apologies for the neglect this last week, but I was on a well earned holiday, I flew to Bulgaria to surprise my Aunt who moved out there 5 years ago. It was an emotional reunion and it was lovely to explore Bulgaria as well as take some time out to relax as I haven't stopped since uni final exams and landing a new job, so I thought I'd tie in my holiday snaps with everything else I've been up to in May.

I finished University for good and joined the working world...
Readers of my blog will know that I've been job hunting for a while now but it has finally paid off!I have now been within my current position for 2 weeks and I'm loving being back within the Fashion PR world, thanks for all your supportive and kind words which have made job hunting easier!

I attended my Graduation Ball...

Attended a Bloggers Event...

Had my first BBQ of the Summer...

Took my Niece on a day out...

Took a Holiday...

What did you get up to in May?
